SmartEducationLab is proud to host the 1st Interim Meeting of the European project ARTEMIS today and tomorrow in Lecce.
Representatives from the project partners have gathered from across Europe to share the results of the first six months of work and discuss the next steps.
The event is taking place in the beautiful setting of the Ex Convitto Palmieri, an ideal venue for discussing new technologies applied to the cultural heritage field.
Central to ARTEMIS is the development of a fully integrated approach to #DigitalTwin for cultural heritage.
This approach involves creating detailed, dynamic digital replicas of cultural heritage, integrating a wide range of data sources and technologies such as IoT and AR/VR.
Digital twins will not only replicate the physical characteristics of cultural assets but will also incorporate historical, environmental, and contextual information, providing a holistic view of cultural heritage and enabling more informed and effective conservation strategies.
π΄π ππΈππΌπ is a project funded by the European Commission through Grant Agreement n. 101188009
