From December 15 to 17, SmartEducationLab took part, together with its researchers, in the Annual Meeting of the ARTEMIS project, held at the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage – KIK-IRPA in Brussels.
#FromVisionToAction During the meeting, we witnessed a key milestone in the project: the transition from vision to the first concrete results, with the ARTEMIS infrastructure now established and operational, and the first key services supporting the #reactiveheritagedigitaltwin beginning to take shape.
As leader of 𝐖𝐏𝟗 – 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, SmartEducationLab presented the activities carried out and outlined a roadmap for the development of services over the coming months, highlighting the central role of IoT, simulation, and AR/VR microservices as enabling elements for the pilots and for the entire ARTEMIS ecosystem.
The 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 also offered an important opportunity for dialogue with leading European projects and infrastructures, as well as with representatives of the European Commission, strengthening the framework of synergies between EU policies, research, and innovation in digital cultural heritage.
The experience was extremely motivating: we thank all the partners for this great opportunity for professional growth and for the collaborative atmosphere. It is a privilege to work and engage with such high-level European organizations, contributing together to building the future of digital cultural heritage.
